Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading support
and research charity for
people with dementia and those who care for them.
There are currently 700,000 people with dementia
in the UK with numbers
set to rise to one million by 2025. This is why
we need your support so
urgently to help people today, and to find a cure
for tomorrow. Payroll
giving is one of the easiest and most flexible
methods of charitable
giving, providing a reliable and vital stream of
income. Giving
regularly through your pay allows us to plan for
the future and help
care for the 700,000 people living with dementia. |

those who are frail, isolated or poor. More than
two million pensioners live below the poverty line

and half a million older people are facing some
form of abuse right now. We offer various services
to combat these appalling statistics. We also campaign
on a number of issues including, poverty, abuse

Over one million older people live
in isolation - lonely, trapped in
their homes, often on the brink of depression with
little contact from
the outside world.
WRVS volunteers are there to offer human warmth,
kindness and practical
help to isolated and vulnerable people whenever
and wherever they are
needed.
