    Combat Stress delivers dedicated treatment and support to Ex-Service men and women with conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety disorders. Our services are free of charge to the Veteran. Through our £30 million campaign, The Enemy Within Appeal, we aim to make sure that Veterans and their families are never far from help.

    County Air Ambulance Trust offer air ambulance service coverage for the Midlands and Welsh Border area. Every second of every minute of every hour counts for serious accidents or medical emergencies and when the clock starts ticking off the minutes of the Golden Hour, the difference between life and death is often a fast flying helicopter with appropriate landing facilities.

  • Lifelines On Call


    The three organisations; The Fire Fighters Charity, RNLI and Samaritans, responded to nearly 5million people in distress last year. All three charities operate 24 hour a day help lines which are a Lifeline to those calling for support.     The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales. The RNLI also works to promote sea and beach safety.

  • The Royal British Legion


    The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. We are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance. We also run the annual Poppy Appeal.

  • Samaritans


    Samaritans aims to benefit society by improving people’s emotional health in order to create a greater sense of well being. Apart from being a 24-hour source of support on the telephone, by email, by letter or face to face, we also work in the local community, visiting; workplaces, schools and prisons.

  • Somebody Cares


    Somebody Cares is a unique consortium of four charities helping those affected by HIV/AIDS, substance misuse, homelessness and imprisonment overseas. This includes Addaction, which is the largest drug and alcohol treatment charity working with 30,000 people affected with substance misuse and helping them break free from their addictions, and Prisoners Abroad who provide support for Britons imprisoned overseas, their friends and families in the UK, and help ex-prisoners returning to the UK.

  • The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) Forces Help


    We help and support those who serve in our Armed Forces and those who used to serve - even if it was only for a single day. We also care for the families of both. Last year alone, our professional staff and trained volunteers provided a reliable, caring and trusted service to more than 50,000 people. We helped to make a real difference to many lives.
