    Alzheimer Scotland helps people with dementia, their carers and families. Our members include carers, relatives, people with dementia, professionals, groups and organisations. Our local services include; day centres, home support, drop-in centres, support groups, carer education, one-to-one support, welfare rights service and information and advice.

  • Alzheimer's Society

    Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. There are 750,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025. Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

  • Bighearted Scotland

    A donation to Bighearted Scotland works harder by helping a wide range of good causes for both children and adults across Scotland. We worth to help people with a wide range of issues including; epilepsy, special needs, exclusion, disability, cancer, mental health and alcohol problems, whilst also promoting environmental awareness and sensible drinking.

  • Combat Stress

    Combat Stress delivers dedicated treatment and support to Ex-Service men and women with conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety disorders. Our services are free of charge to the Veteran. Through our £30 million campaign, The Enemy Within Appeal, we aim to make sure that Veterans and their families are never far from help.

  • Mind

    We're Mind the mental health charity. Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. Our information empowers people to make choices about treatments, understand their rights and reach support. Our network of local Minds provide essential services in their communities. We campaign and work to raise awareness of mental health, to break down stigma and challenge discrimination.


    “Scottish charities operating together” is a consortium of six charities working in Scotland to help people and the environment. Including Penumbra, this is Scotland’s most innovative mental health charity, working to improve mental wellbeing for adults and young people across the nation.

  • United Response

    United Response helps people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities to live in the community, across England and in Wales. We believe everybody should live the fullest life, whatever their level of disability. We provide everything from 24-hour care to helping someone living in their own flat to get a job.
