Welcome...

Thank you
Hands On Helping is the award winning Professonal Fundraising Organisation (PFO) raising funds for charity by promoting Payroll Giving.

“We were ecstatic to win three awards at this year’s National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards. The Awards are designed to congratulate employers’ outstanding and continuing commitment to Payroll Giving; we are thrilled that our successful partnerships have been commended.” (Wendy Tapping, Managing Director)

Our Objectives

  • To allow and readily promote the freedom of choice Payroll Giving offers, we accept and process donations to ANY charitable organisation.

  • To be flexible enough to work with all manner of companies, from SME’s with ten employees to International corporations that employ thousands.

  • Always be understanding of diversity; tailor make promotions for different working environments and businesses, as well as working together with companies to design literature and press communication that suits them.

Our Achievements

  • Our Pounds for Pledges campaign gave away £10,800 last year alone by giving an extra £1 to the chosen charity for any pledge received.

  • We have been commended for corporate partnerships, winning three awards at last year’s National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards. Including the prestigious Best Large Employer Award.

  • 100% of the staff at Hands On Helping give to charity through their payroll.

About Us

Hands On Helping work to allow employers and employees to support good causes in the most tax efficient way – by giving from their pay through Payroll Giving.

Our Story

Hands On Helping was established in 1995 from a family home in the Peak District. More than fifteen years on, we are still going strong in our purpose built offices in the Hope Valley, which makes us the most established and experienced professional fundraising organisation operating. We work to promote the HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs) Payroll Giving Scheme. To date we have raised over £25 million for charities worldwide.
